a good story provides an escape, and Offscreen’s 2025
Ski Trip video was built to do just that. we were asked to
transport Offscreen’s student audience from the winding canals of Amsterdam to the peaks of France, within a digestible video. short, engaging, cohesive. perfect for social media.

the challenge
the approach
our first goal was understanding our audience. after speaking
with Offscreen’s student association board, we were able to contextualise what their student client base was experiencing.
fresh off of exams. ready to clear their minds. we wanted to create
the sense of a home away from home. something cosy yet freeing.
the soloution
our Content Strategist, Finn Kupin, and Head of Visuals,
Meg Johnson, combined to produce a video that gives this escape.
for a minute there, I thought I was gliding down the slopes and not writing this.
the result
now, unfortunately, I’m crashing back down to reality. but I
suppose that’s the goal. to create a longing for a sense of
adventure. for the time being, I’m going to sign off to go and
book my next holiday.
